A moment that lasted just seconds can live forever in our dreams

If the moment is special enough you'll always remember it with ease

Love can touch just one time, and yet last for forever in our hearts

Two souls who have bonded close will never really fully part.

A once in a lifetime love affair is often enough,

to harbor sweet memories when the going gets rough.

A chance encounter, a stranger, a complete unknown.

Can stay with you always, you never need be alone.

Oh yes, it was fleeting, it passed quite too soon,

But I remember the night and the stars and the moon.

And though we met briefly, the flicker soon gone,

You will be with me in memory and our love will live on.

Is it so puzzling, you just can't comprehend,

that a second when shared can stay up to the end.

Memories are the reasons your heart has to live,

sweet memories, the kind that true love can give.

So why do you shed tears, I only own joy,

and memories of your magic to always enjoy.

Your arms will protect me, at night keep me warm,

Don't say it passed quickly, we just ran out of time,

And time is a viewpoint and a matter of mind.

All pleasant memories of delightful bliss.
